Foster Precision Surgery LLC is owned and operated by Dr. Andrea Foster MD, an ABS Certified General Surgeon based in Anchorage, Alaska who performs robotic general surgery, emergency general surgery, and many other procedures.
A graduate of Chugiak High School, Dr. Foster has trained as a surgeon with focus on returning to the Last Frontier to serve her fellow Alaskans. She attended college and medical school at Boston University and completed her residency at HealthONE Swedish Medical Center before finally beginning practice in Anchorage.
Her favorite Alaskan hikes include Reed Lakes and Gunsight Mountain and she has thoroughly explored Unit 13 with her annual subsistence permit.

Honored as guest speaker in fall 2023 for a joint mentoring event with Waltham High School Upward Bound, a federally funded college access program for first generation applicants, and Brandeis University Black Student Union.
